Modern Masters

The Gallery at Ice showcases from time to time important signed original etchings and lithographs by leading members of the School of Paris including artists such as Chagall, Dali, Helleu, Matisse, Miro, Picasso and Renoir.  With a price range of £400 to £12,000 the gallery is offering their clients the chance to purchase a lovely piece of memorabilia from this period.

Please call the gallery prior to your visit to enquire which works we are currently showing.

School of Paris

The School of Paris describes, not an art movement or a learning establishment, but instead is more indicative of the importance of Paris as a centre of Western art in the early decades of the 20th century.

A leading figure of the School of Paris was the Spaniard Pablo Picasso, who moved to France in 1904. Picasso’s variety of creative styles is representative of the kind of interchange that transcends the works of the School of Paris artists.

In addition to Picasso, the group of non-French artists in Paris before World War I who created in the styles of Post-Impressionism, Cubism, and Fauvism, includes artists such as Marc Chagall, Salvador Dali and Joan Miró.

Sculpture

The Gallery at Ice represents renowned British sculptors as well as promoting contemporary sculptures by young emerging British and International artists.  The Gallery Director has personally selected and sourced sculptures from the working studio of each sculptor.

The Gallery at Ice offers a diverse selection of bronze, bronze resin and mixed media sculptures for the home, garden and commercial interiors.
